The Nail Station Last Thursday, I finally decided to visit The Nail Station at Robinsons Galleria. I’ve been seeing this place for a couple of years but I never really took time to check it out. I’m glad I finally did.

I was greeted by two friendly ladies who oriented me about their different services. I opted for Yuppie Hands and Yuppie Feet which are regular manicure and pedicure services. I was then seated on this cozy couch, given magazines, had my feet propped up on an ottoman, and was asked to wait awhile. These are all standard procedures, but what made it so different was that they did it with warmth and joy – something we rarely see today.

One of the ladies attended to my Yuppie Hands, and the other to my Yuppie Feet. They started off by rubbing my hands and feet with hot towels, then continued with the normal procedure. These ladies not only made sure that they were doing their jobs properly; they also made sure that I was well attended to beyond things that they should be doing for me, like making sure my sunglasses weren’t being crushed by my wallet which I shoved in my bag for fear of ruining my nails.

When I was done, they asked me to stay to relax or take a nap and wait for my nails to dry. They made me feel very comfortable on my first visit, and I sure am going back again.

For excellent customer service like this, you would expect to pay a rather hefty sum of money, but not here. Everything cost me P300, plus tips. Not bad at all.

I left the place very happy and with silky smooth hands and feet! When they first seated me on the couch, they said they’ll make me feel like a princess. Well they most certainly did.
